Happy 150th Birthday Canada!

I love this country, and I believe there is no better place to live in the world! Hope you have a great Canadian-style celebration with family and friends. I'm old enough that I can remember Canada's Centennial in 1967, although I’m pretty sure I’m not likely to make it to the bi-centennial!

In my opinion, there's nothing more Canadian than a canoe! The accompanying photo is from a canoe trip my wife and I took three years ago down the west branch of the Spanish River, near Sudbury, ON. Probably my favourite trip in all our years of canoe tripping - beautiful and challenging!
